ftp-clone solution for replication via FTP |
The ftp-clone-service service allows you to replicate identically directories located on one or more servers identically. It replicates the directories of the server where it is installed with remote directories located on one or more other servers accessible by the Ftp or Ftps protocol.
Replication is bidirectional between local and remote directories according to a configurable replication delay. Thus, adding a file to a directory causes its replication on other servers as do the actions of modifying a file or deleting it.
This service uses the standard FTP protocol - File Transfer Protocol - which must first be implemented on the servers.
It can be used to make a backup of your data hosted on the Internet if it is accessible via the FTP protocol.
